The job
In the role of Warehouse Employee, you are responsible for collecting, packing, and preparing goods for shipment. You ensure that orders are accurately picked using a handheld scanner and that the products are ready for shipment on time. Additionally, you perform quality checks and help ensure the logistics process runs smoothly.
On an average workday, you start by collecting orders using a handheld scanner. You transport pallets with items to the correct location and carefully place them in the designated pick locations. Then you pack the products safely and efficiently according to guidelines and customer specifications, ensuring the customer is always satisfied. You work together with your colleagues in a close-knit team where accuracy and involvement are central.
