The job
For our partner in Dongen, we are looking for an experienced mechanic for the technical service. As a technical service mechanic, you – together with your colleagues – are responsible for the maintenance of production installations and peripheral equipment. Thanks to your experience, you can quickly detect and efficiently resolve mechanical and electrical malfunctions. You also contribute to technical modifications and improvement projects. In case of malfunctions, you set the right priorities and know better than anyone how to solve them safely and quickly.What makes this position so enjoyable?You work with a combination of electrical engineering, mechanics, and control technology, in a dynamic environment where you can apply all your technical knowledge.You initially work on a day shift basis, from Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 16:15.Your tasks include, among others:• Performing maintenance and repair work on machines and installations• Resolving malfunctions in mechanical and electronic areas• Recording performed work and malfunction data• Proposing and implementing technical improvements• Contributing to a safe, neat, and orderly work environment• Assisting with the implementation of new machines or systems
You
• You have demonstrable experience in a technical service within a production environment
• Preferably, you have additional training in control technology or PLC systems
• You do not have a 9 to 5 mentality.
- You possess a driver's license B.
• You are solution-oriented, independent, and a team player
• You have a hands-on mentality and good communication skills
