The job
As a maintenance technician at our partner, you are the first point of contact when technical assistance is needed. You ensure that our lines keep running and that quick and adequate action is taken in case of malfunctions. You use your knowledge and skills proactively to further improve our machinery. As part of the Technical Department, your task is to ensure that our machinery is up and running again as quickly as possible when a malfunction occurs. You locate the malfunctions and know exactly what to do when a production line is down.
In addition, you are constantly working on the improvement of our machines and preventing malfunctions through maintenance work and inspections to ensure continuity. To develop your knowledge and skills to the fullest, you will follow possible internal and external trainings, such as maintenance techniques, troubleshooting, or programming.
What will you do?
• Quickly and adequately solve malfunctions within the bakery;
• Investigate and think about how malfunctions have occurred, and not only solve the consequences but also the causes;
• Performing (preventive) maintenance work;
• Assisting in the further development and optimization of our department as a whole;
• Working in a 3-shift system on a 4-weekly schedule (day-day-late-night).
You
- You work accurately and have a proactive attitude.
- You are willing to work in shifts.
- Knowledge of control technology and industrial automation, and of weak and strong current. An education in mechatronics or electrical engineering is a plus, or knowledge gained through experience.
- Collegiality, willing to help others and do so in a friendly manner, integrity, honestly giving your opinion and admitting mistakes.
- Experience in analyzing, locating, and resolving malfunctions in electrical installations.
