The job
As a DC Employee in the e-commerce distribution center of Our Partner, you ensure that customers in the Netherlands and Belgium receive their webshop orders on time. You do this from a state-of-the-art workplace of 51,000 square meters where your development never stands still. No experience? No problem, our Partner has a tailored onboarding program! What are your opportunities in our e-commerce distribution center? Good to know, it involves non-food items that are no larger than a microwave.
In the order picking and/or internal transport department, your tasks are as follows:
- Collecting items with a small handheld scanner which you then place in the cart;
- Transporting the pallets with items to the correct location;
- Accurately placing all items in the correct (pick) location;
If you work in this department, your step counter will work overtime because you will cover a lot of ground.
You
- Experience in a logistics environment is a plus.
- You always prioritize safety and work accurately.
- You have a command of the Dutch or English language.
