The job
As an assistant nursery employee, you are actively involved daily in a laurel nursery where you help care for the plants. Your tasks are varied: pruning, moving and tying up plants, weeding, and shaping the plants. Additionally, you regularly assist in order processing and help prepare orders for shipment.
An average workday begins at the nursery where you review the day's schedule with colleagues. Then you start caring for the plants or potting and propagating. During peak times, you assist in the order processing department to ensure timely processing of orders. You work full-time and are part of a collegial team where collaboration and communication are important.
